Clemens Fritz: "Our game was dispirited and we looked afraid. It was a catastrophic performance. If we continue to enter challenges like that, we won't be able to win a single game. Nobody wanted to have possession of the ball today and at times we tried things that we've never done before, like try to play the offside trap. Our coaching staff provided us with a lot of information this week and prepared us intensively for what we are to expect here but we have to translate that onto the pitch. We failed as a team today. It's important that we accept the criticism and face up to our responsibilities together.
Aron Jóhannsson: "Bayern are certainly one of the top teams in Europe, but conceding six goals is too much. Almost everything went wrong today that could go wrong. We worked really hard throughout the week and believed in our ability to keep up here. However, we didn't show that on the pitch. That was nothing!"
Luca Caldirola: "We knew that it wouldn't be an easy task and that Bayern are an absolute top side, but this was definitely not the type of reaction we wanted to produce after the Lotte game. We are all very upset about our own performance."
Viktor Skripnik: "The third goal was the crucial point of the game, as they scored just seconds after the restart. Some of our players stopped playing football after that. Overall we offered our opponents far too much space. It really wasn't our day today."
