Pre-season plans are starting to fall into place. Frank Baumann announced on Friday that SV Werder have now scheduled a further training camp and three friendlies. Like last year, the players will head to Neuruppin. The camp starts on Sunday 10th July and concludes six days later (Saturday, 16th July). The players will undergo a number of fitness activities during the trip, which promises to be a strenuous challenge for all involved.

“The coaching staff and players were impressed with the facilities there last season. We’re looking forward to returning to Neuruppin again. Then days there will be an important part of our pre-season – the work done there will act as the foundation for our season,” announced Baumann, who will make the trip for the first time this year.

During the camp Werder will face VSG Altglienicke in Berlin (Tuesday, 12th July, 18:30 CEST), before facing a Neuruppin select side (12:00 CEST) and VfB Lübeck (18:30 CEST) on 16th July.
