The magazine “11 Freunde” chose this as the “Fan Movement of the Year”. “Greenwhitewonderwall is already down in history, it epitomised an all-round positive fan movement from the Werder fans,” was the magazine’s statement. The proof that this award is absolutely deserved can be seen in the fans’ tribute section on WERDER.TV. Werder were represented in another category as well: the jury found Claudio Pizarro guilty as charged of being “Bloke of the Year” upon evidence that the Peruvian veteran has been “repaying his supporters’ love with fantastic performances for years”.+++
