+++ Praise for Yatabaré: After his first 90 minutes in a Werder kit, Yatabaré was spoken highly of by the head coach. "Yata did well. He ran twelve kilometres and fought hard right until the end while still being a clean player. He is not afraid to show himself – that’s important for us," said Skripnik. He wouldn’t be a coach, however, if didn’t know where things could improve. "He could be more effective at what he does." Eichin also praised the winter signing. "I like Sambou on Saturday. He put in a good performance against a strong opponent." +++

+++ Hard workers: Despite having the day off from training, Fin Bartels, who missed out on the game in Munich due to illness, had an individual session on the training pitch. Meanwhile, Özkan Yildirim was working in the gym. He is currently suffering from knee problems. +++

+++ Visit from Berlin: After their training session on Sunday, the players had a visitor from Berlin arrive in Bremen. Felix Kroos, who is currently on loan at Union Berlin, came back to visit the boys in the dressing room. He is currently suffering from a muscle injury. Get well soon, Felix! +++
