Julian von Haacke joins NEC Nijmegen

Julian von Haacke is switching to the Dutch Eredivisie. The  22-year-old is joining NEC Nijmegen for the new season, following an announcement made by sporting director Frank Baumann earlier on Thursday. The transer fee remains undisclosed.

"We would like to wish Julian all the best for the next step of his career in the Netherlands," explained Baumann. Born in Bremen, Julian von Haacke has been wearing the Green-White of SV Werder since 2005. The youngster has progressed through the youth system at the club and made 62 appearances for the U23s in the 3. Liga and Regionalliga.
