Oliver Hüsing moves to Hungary

Oliver Hüsing is leaving SV Werder Bremen. The 23-year-old defender is moving to Hungarian league champions and cup winners Ferencváros. Sporting director Frank Baumann confirmed the news on Thursday afternoon. Details on the transfer remain undisclosed. 

Oliver has always acted in an exemplary manner both on and off the pitch at Werder. He played a key role in helping the U23s secure their third-divsion status last season. We wish him well for the future, said Baumann. 

Oliver Hüsing joined the SV Werder Bremen youth set-up from BV Bühren in 2004. He made 80 appearances in the Regionalliga and third division for the U23s and featured on three occasions in the Bundesliga for Werder.
