Werder to play friendly against Huddersfield Town

Werder’s first opponents have been confirmed for the friendly match during their training camp in Zillertal. The Green-Whites will face English second division side Huddersfield town on Tuesday, 26th July. Both teams will be having a training camp in Austria at the time and will play each other in the Parkstadion in Zell am Ziller. The kick-off time will be confirmed at a later date.   

Huddersfield were promoted to the Football League Championship in 2012, the second tier of English football. They have been coached by David Wagner since November 2015. The German American played in the Bundesliga for many years for clubs such as Schalke 04, Mainz 05 and Eintracht Frankfurt.
