Theo wasn’t on the pitch anymore at this point in the match. The Werder man was subbed off immediately before the goal after fighting and working hard for almost the full 90 minutes. The 29-year-old was deployed in what was an unusual position for him on the right-side of midfield but he still put in a strong performance and covered plenty of ground. He was also close to getting himself on the scoresheet but his header was cleared off the line by Cesc Fabregas.
