Felix Kroos moving to Union Berlin

Felix Kroos is moving to the capital. The 25-year-old midfielder is leaving SV Werder and will join 1. FC Union Berlin for the new season. Both clubs announced the transfer on Monday morning. Kroos was on loan at the second-division outfit for the second half of 2015/16. The transfer fee remains undisclosed.

"I would like to thank Felix for his time at Werder and wish him all the best for the future," said Frank Baumann. The Greifswald-born footballer has been with the Green-Whites for six years. The defensive midfielder joined from Hansa Rostock in summer 2010. He scored one goal in 70 competitive games for SV Werder.
