Baumann agrees three-year contract with Werder

Werder’s newly-appointed sporting director Frank Baumann and chairman of the supervisory board at the Green Whites, Marco Bode, have come to an agreement on a three year deal. Baumann signed a contract at the club until 30th June 2019, as confirmed by Bode on Monday. Frank Baumann must first be officially appointed by the board, before he can then be presented to the public on Friday. 

“We’ve had some very good discussions in the last few days. Frank has a clear vision and we feel he has the right prerequisites to for us to take the next steps in our development,” said Bode.
