SV Werder Bremen are delighted to announce the next arrival at the Weser for next season. Justin Eilers will arrive on a free transfer from Dynamo Dresden this summer. The 27-year-old attacker, who recently celebrated promotion to the second

Bundesliga with his side, has signed a contract until 30/06/2019.

“We have followed his progress closely over the last few seasons. He developed well in the Regionalliga and in the third division, and is still improving. Particularly in Dresden he has showed the danger he poses in front of goal. We are pleased that he has chosen Werder,” explained Werder chief executive Thomas Eichin.

The striker, who was born in Braunschweig, started at Braunschweiger SC before moving to Dynamo Dresden in 2014. He scored 39 goals in 79 matches in the third division, 20 of which have come in the current season. Last weekend, he and his side secured promotion to the second division.
