Fritz a doubt for Darmstadt

On Saturday afternoon, SV Werder Bremen entertain Darmstadt at the Weser-Stadion. Clemens Fritz's involvement is still in doubt. On Monday evening, he returned to Bremen after seeing Dr Müller-Wohlfahrt in Munich.

"The check-up confirmed the ankle strain and it was dealt with with an injection. We hope that the injection has soothed the area and Clemens will be back in Munich to check progress on Thursday. We will then decide how to proceed and whether he can play on Saturday," explained Werder's team doctor Dr. Philip Heitmann.
