Jannik Vestergaard: "Our opponents were dangerous from set-pieces. They scored twice, we didn't score at all. That's how you lose games - it's as simple as that. We actually didn't allow them to too many chances, but still conceded two goals - that hurts. We wanted to play long balls over the top in order to avoid their pressing. We are currently not looking to win any prizes by playing attractive football. The relegation battle remains tight and we need to continue working hard and giving our all."
Lukas Fröde: "The disappointment is huge. We had a lot of plans for this game and are disappointed to have lost. We have to put this game behind us quickly and look ahead in order to collect points and distance ourselves from the relegation zone. Every game is important now. We have to keep pushing forward and we will win again."
Viktor Skripnik: "We once again forgot to score. One team scored goals from nothing, while the other let good chances go to waste. In the end we are left standing without any points. We needed players with a fighting attitude in the first half. It's a shame that they scored from their first chance. We are very disappointed."
Felix Wiedwald: "For long spells of the game we lacked fluency and often played long balls forward, which made it difficult to find a rhythm. We have to start collecting points to improve our position in the table."
Anthony Ujah: "We tried to get back into the match the entire 90 minutes, but it was very tough today. We didn't play well."
Thomas Eichin: "When we tried playing fluent football, we actually played quite well. I can't criticise the team for their performance in the second half. But our first half performance was simply not good enough."
