As the Werder first team appeared for the start of pre-season training, so did the new official 2016/17 home shirt. Werder fans can get the new Green-White striped kit of Kainz, Fritz and Co. now, either in the Werder Fan-Welt or in the Online-Fanshop.
While the home shirt was released a week ago, Lennart Thy was exclusively showing off the new away kit for the first time on Friday morning. For away matches Werder will be running out in a purple shirt and purple shorts. The classic Werder diamond really stands out with this colour combination. There is a blue and orange stripe down the side of the shirt and shorts, just like on the home kit, and the team will wear orange socks with a white Nike tick. On both the home and away shirt, the club’s initials “SVW” will be on the back of the collar.
Important information: player name printing will be available from Monday 11th July in the Werder Fan-Welt at the Weser Stadium, online at WERDER.DE, and through the call centre. Until then, only individual printing will be possible.
