Werder extend partnership with kit manufacturer Umbro

SV Werder Bremen have announced today that the club will continue to play in kits manufactured by Umbro for the next few seasons! Werder have extended the partnership with the Manchester-based football brand until the 2024/25 season.

The British company are currently in their third season as official kit supplier for the Green-Whites. “Both sides were keen to continue the partnership. Alongside the annual shirt collections, which continue to sell well, we have launched numerous other innovative campaigns with Umbro. These include our new eSports shirt, a green and white trainer, extensive fan-wear collections, and a special shirt for the club’s 120th anniversary. From our side, we’re delighted to be continuing our partnership with such a leading supplier on a long-term basis,” explained Werder’s chief executive, Klaus Filbry.

“Our partnership with Werder truly is a partnership according to the dictionary definition of the word. We challenge and support each other and are constantly developing new ideas together. We’re delighted to be extending our contract into the future,” said Michael Scholz, general manager of Umbro Germany.
