As well as the training camp, the sponsorship agreement between the Zillertal Tourism Board and German Bundesliga side SV Werder Bremen includes advertising boards in the Weser-Stadion and different communicative elements from the Werder Bremen advertising portfolio. “We are very pleased to be continuing with this partnership because we have had many great experiences in Zillertal over the past five years. Over this period of time, Zillertal has become an important port of call for our first team, as well as our partners and fans. We have the best conditions here and an amazing 360 degree view”, says Klaus Filbry, chief executive of SV Werder Bremen.
Of course, the main reason for the extension of the partnership is how pleased the players are with the facilities. “We have found a second summer home in Zell am Ziller and the whole region. Also, our fans are welcomed to the Zillertal Arena with the same top hospitality that all of our athletes experience”, says Werder’s sporting director, Frank Baumann.
