It was made clear some time ago that he would be leaving Werder Bremen at the end of the season, but he’s now revealed his destination. After an emotional goodbye at the final home game of the season versus Bayer Leverkusen and then his final Bundesliga appearance in Mainz, Zlatko Junuzovic has decided after six and a half years at the Green-Whites to move to RB Salzburg in the Austrian Bundesliga.
Zladdi’s career began in the Austrian Bundesliga as he played a total of 210 games for Austria Vienna, Austria Kärnten and Graz Ak. In January 2012, Junuzovic moved to the Weser-Stadion where, in 198 games, he scored 22 goals and got 54 assists. The Bundesliga game on Saturday versus Mainz was his final game in a Werder shirt. Everyone at the club wishes him well in his new challenge at RB Salzburg.
