Aycicek leaves Werder for Greuther Fürth

Levent Aycicek has left SV Werder Bremen to sign for 2. Bundesliga side SpVbb Greuther Fürth, Werder’s sporting director, Frank Baumann announced on Thursday.

“Levent has demonstrated his excellent footballing ability once again in the past few weeks and has proven in the 3. Liga that he can play at a higher level. We wish him every success in his future endeavours,” Baumann said.

Levent Aycicek was a SV Werder Bremen player for almost ten years. He played 13 times in the Bundesliga for the Green-Whites and scored two goals. He made 56 appearances for the U23s in the 3. Liga and the Regionalliga, scoring 18 times.
