SV Werder Bremen will be without Kevin Möhwald in their opening Bundesliga 2 game on Saturday night. The 28-year-old midfielder went into voluntary self-isolation on Friday afternoon following a positive COVID-19 case in his personal environment. Möhwald himself tested negative.

"We heard about the positive test result from one of Kevin’s contacts just before the final training session. We spoke with him straight away and he decided to go into isolation. He’ll spend the next few days there. He will be tested daily. We want to rule out any risk and protect our players, coaches and staff," said Frank Baumann.
