“It’s bad news for us. Over the last weeks, it’s become apparent how important Grosso is to our team. For him, it’s also a tough blow after his red card in the game on Saturday. We’re hoping the surgery goes well and that he’s able to return to the pitch as soon as possible,” said Werder head coach Markus Anfang.
