Plans for Werder Bremen’s end-of-season quarantine training camp, as per DFL orders, have been finalised: After the away game in Augsburg, the Green-Whites will travel to Barsinghausen in Lower-Saxony, where they will prepare for Matchday 34 at the Lower Saxony Football Association’s school for sports, Frank Baumann revealed.

"It’s important for us to get away and train well in good conditions," said Baumann, explaining the decision. In the sporting director’s view, it will be important for the team to clear their minds with a change of scenery outside of Bremen ahead of the final and crucial game against Borussia Mönchengladbach.

Werder will, however, spend the first two days of the mandatory quarantine in Bremen’s Parkhotel, with training taking place behind closed doors at the wohninvest WESERSTADION facilities. On Friday, the Werder players will head to the hotel in Augsburg, where they will face relegation battle rivals FC Augsburg the following day. After this, SVW will travel to Barsinghausen.
