Two members of the Czech Republic support staff have tested positive for Covid-19.  All of the players who were in the squad on Friday (4/9/2020) for the game against Slovakia are thus returning to their club sides. Jiri Pavlenka is expected to return to Bremen on Sunday (6/9/2020). Despite the Coronavirus cases amongst the support staff, all players have tested negative for Covid-19 so far.

After consulting the health authorities in Bremen, Pavlenka will undergo a Coronavirus test upon his return. He will then be tested again on Tuesday. Until then, he will have no contact with his teammates as a preventative measure. If both of his tests are negative, he will return to squad training on Wednesday.
