Luc Ihorst, who spent last season on loan at VfL Osnabrück, has now moved on a temporary basis to Eintracht Braunschweig in the third tier. The 21-year-old made 20 competitive appearances for VfL last term, scoring two goals.

“After spending a season at Osnabrück, it will be good for Luc to now get more minutes at Braunschweig to continue his development. We expect him to continue to progress now in the 3. Liga,” explained Frank Baumann.
Ihorst joined Werder’s academy in 2012, playing for all youth sides at the club. He also made a cameo appearance in the Bundesliga in 2019/20 against RB Leipzig. He has scored six goals in 23 matches for Werder’s U23s in the Regionalliga Nord.
