Zillertal friendlies scheduled

SVW to face ZSKA Sofia and Zenit St. Petersburg

SV Werder will play two friendlies at the summer training camp in Zillertal (nordphoto).

Werder’s friendly matches for the summer training camp in Zillertal have been scheduled. The Green-Whites will face Bulgarian side ZSKA Sofia and Russian champions Zenit St. Petersburg in the Parkstadion in Zell am Ziller. In partnership with WERDER STROM, the friendlies will be available to stream for free on YouTube.

The series of summer friendlies will kick off on Sunday 27th June at 15:30 CEST as head coach Markus Anfang’s team face Oberliga side TuS Blau-Weiß Lohne at the Heinz-Dettmer-Stadion in Lohne. Three days later on Wednesday 30th June at 18:30 CEST, Werder travel to take on VfB Oldenburg at the Marschwegstadion in Oldenburg, Lower Saxony.

Two further friendlies are scheduled during the summer training camp. The camp runs from 1st July to 8th July in Zillertal, Austria. On Sunday 4th July, SVW host Bulgarian cup-winners ZSKA Sofia at the Parkstadion in Zell am Ziller at 16:00 CEST. To round off the camp, Werder will play Russian champions Zenit St. Petersburg on 7th July at 18:00 CEST, also in the Parkstadion.

The friendlies in Zillertal will be played in front of fans. More information will follow on ticket sales will follow shortly. The friendlies will also be available to stream for free on YouTube in partnership with WERDER STROM.
