Head coach Florian Kohfeldt’s side must first overcome second tier Regensburg following the postponement of the quarter-final clash in Bavaria. The match was cancelled at short notice last Monday due to several COVID-19 cases among the hosts’ squad and staff and the resulting domestic quarantine for the entire team. The rescheduled match will be played on Wednesday 7th April 2021 with kick off at 18:30 CET.
The semi-finals of the DFB-Pokal will be played on Saturday 1st and Sunday 2nd May 2021. The final of the cup will take place two weeks later in the Olympiastadion in Berlin, on Thursday 13th May 2021.
