SV Werder Bremen's DFB-Pokal quarterfinal match against SSV Jahn Regensburg has been postponed, after confirmation from the DFB on Monday afternoon. The match has been cancelled after several positive Covid-19 tests within Regensburg's team, coaching and backroom staff mean the second-tier outfit will now have to quarantine for 14 days.

Regensburg head coach Mersad Selimbegovic had previously tested positive for Covid-19 on Friday (26/02). The team were able to play their home game against SC Paderborn on the weekend (1-0 win), under the DFL hygiene concept. A further round of testing on Sunday then returned several positive test results among several members of the team and backroom staff.

A make-up date for the game has yet to be announced.
