Felix Beijmo has left SV Werder Bremen. The defender has joind Swedish record title holders Malmö FF, as announced on Wednesday by Werder’s sporting director Frank Baumann.

Beijmo spent the first half of last season on loan at Malmö, before being loaned to second-division side SpVgg Greuther Fürth for the second half of the season. The 22 year old made three appearances for SV Werder Bremen II in the Regionalliga Nord. Both parties had imagined Felix’s time with us differently. We are pleased for Felix that he can take on a new challenge in his native Sweden and wish him the best for the future,” said Frank Baumann.
