SV Werder Bremen have arranged to organise shorter working hours for many of their employees. This was announced by the Bundesliga club’s directors. The decision was reached in response to the effects of social distancing measures, put in place due to the spread of coronavirus. These measures have brought Werder’s core business activities to a standstill, including training for the various sports within the club and custom at establishments such as the fan shop or the soccer centre BOLZEREI. Social engagement initiatives, which are not feasible in the current circumstances, have also been put on hold.
