Florian Kohfeldt intends to pull out all the stops for Tuesday night’s home game against FC Bayern München. He has no injuries or difficulties to report on after the weekend’s 5-1 win. Even Leonardo Bittencourt and Fin Bartels are available for selection again.

On Saturday, the attacking duo spent 90 minutes on the bench. Kohfeldt revealed after the game that he was "glad" he didn’t have to bring either of them on. "They’re well-rested, at full strength and definitely candidates to start," said the Werder boss ahead of tomorrow night’s clash with the table toppers (20:30 CEST kick-off).

Only Kevin Möhwald, Nuri Sahin and Ömer Toprak, who are all recovering from long-term injuries, are not available to Florian Kohfeldt. Niclas Füllkrug, who enjoyed a dream return to action with a goal against Paderborn, is, however, only an option for a potential late substitution. Kohfeldt: "The aim is still to have him playing for 15 to 20 minutes at a time. For anything longer than that he would need a longer phase of training, which is not possible for us."

Kohfeldt has ruled out the tactic of resting important players against the seemingly unstoppable outfit from Munich, in order to have them fully fit for the following six-pointer againt Mainz. "I will not be resting any players with one eye on the Mainz game, absolutely not. I will pick the team I believe has the best chance of getting a result against Bayern."
