The final training session of the double gameweek is over and there is good news in the form that Davie Selke has recovered after the blow to his hip flexor. After his successful return to the WESERSTADION on Tuesday evening, the forward is also looking to make a splash in the opposition penalty area on Saturday against Union Berlin.

For defender Michael Lang, the game against Union comes too early, and after his return to team training, it has been decided that putting him at any further risk of injury would be detrimental to his health. The Swiss should be ready to play again against RB Leipzig. The young players Ilia Gruev, Simon Straudi and Julian Rieckmann were also not on the training ground but were at the U23s friendly game against Rot-Weiss Essen to get some match experience.
