“Dudu has developed exceptionally well since joining the club last summer. He already possesses a lot of talent and we are delighted he has opted to stay for the foreseeable future,” said Frank Baumann.
Werder goalkeeping coach Christian Vander also praised the young German talent. “Dudu fully deserves this contract extension after showing several strong performances for our U23s. He has a lot of potential and we are delighted that he will look to take that next step here in Bremen.”+
Eduardo Dos Santos Haesler is also optimistic for the future. “I’m proud to have received the opportunity to continue to play for SV Werder Bremen. I want to build upon my first season here in Bremen and continue to develop,” said the young goalkeeper.
Eduardo Dos Santos Haesler joined Werder from MSV Duisburg U19s in the summer of 2018. Since arriving in Bremen, the young goalkeeper has made 20 appearances for Werder U23s in the Regionalliga Nord. The 20 year-old recently also travelled to the Zillertal valley in Austria for the pre-season training camp with the senior team. Dos Santos Haesler will also train with Florian Kohfeldt’s side in the upcoming camp in Grassau, Bavaria.
