Ludwig Augustinsson will be unavailable for the games against Hoffenheim and Augsburg due to a thigh injury sustained during rehabilitative training.
“Ludde had almost recovered from his previous hamstring injury. It’s really unfortunate that he then picked up an injury to his thigh during an intensive session. We will now make sure that Ludwig makes a full recovery, and only allow him to come back when he’s 100%,” said Werder’s sporting director, Frank Baumann.
Kevin Vogt, who was forced to spend the night in hospital due to a concussion he sustained during Saturday’s win in Düsseldorf, has now returned to Bremen. “Kevin is doing really well; he will now undergo a few more tests back here in Bremen. Then we will just have to wait and see how quickly he recovers, and when he will be able to return to training,” said head coach Florian Kohfeldt. There are no other additional injuries to report on from the game in Düsseldorf.
