Molkerei Ammerland and their brand “Ammerländer” will remain as one of SV Werder Bremen’s main sponsors. Having already worked with the club for many years, this partnership has been prematurely extended to the end of the 2022/23 season.

This means that Ammerländer will continue to be the sleeve sponsor on the kits of both the men’s first team in the Bundesliga 2 as well as the women’s team in the FLYERALARM Women’s Bundesliga. For many years, Ammerländer has also supported the club with the Green-Whites’ annual “inclusion matchday”. “We’re so glad that we’re able to continue our work together with Molkerei Ammerland and further address issues which we both find important,” said Klaus Filbry, chairman of the board of directors at SVW. “We’ve had a very special, long-standing partnership which has been shaped by our wishes to address pressing themes in today’s society such as involvement, the right of everyone to play sport and participate in all areas of social life, and women’s football. As a regional partner known across Germany, Ammerländer is a very suitable match for us. By showing their logo clearly on our sleeves, we will help them to further increase their brand awareness, and both parties are able to benefit from an ecologically, economically and socially sustainable perspective through our work together.”

Ralf Hinrichs, chief executive of Molkerei Ammerland, added: “Since we became SVW’s sleeve sponsor last summer, we’ve received a lot of positive feedback. Molkerei Ammerland prides itself on its responsible dealings with humans, animals and the environment and in Werder we have a strong partner which embodies our ethos. We’ve already implemented important initiatives together, such as the annual matchday of inclusion and the week of football as part of the Special Olympics in Bremen. Our brand Ammerländer still has plenty of goals and we’re looking forward to the remaining games of the season and the continuation of our partnership.”
