SV Werder Bremen will start the season with a new partnership. The Green and Whites will be financially supported by Betway for the next three years as SV Werder Bremen’s betting partner. This Thursday, Werder’s new marketing director, Christian Rauhut, made it known that contract negotiations had been taking place in the past weeks and were successful. “We’re looking forward to working with Betway - one of the leading online bookmakers. It says a lot about the strength of our brand that Betway have chosen to work with us to make the step to the next level. We’re excited to work with one another”, said Rauhut.

Anthony Werkman, Betway’s Marketing and Operations Director, added: “We’re really proud of being able to establish this partnership. The Bundesliga is a figurehead for world football and we’re excited to be part of a massive club like Werder Bremen.”

Managing Director, Reinhard Weinberger, is also very positive about the deal: “With SV Werder Bremen and betway, we have two strong brands coming together. We’re glad the talks were successful and betway can be part of our club for the next three years.”

Betway have already established their reputation as a reliable betting partner in the 2. Bundesliga and now want to make people more aware of their brand. Currently, they are official partners of FC St. Pauli, Union Berlin, Dynamo Dresden and Eintracht Braunschweig. Since 2015, betway have been the main sponsor of West Ham United and have financially backed RSC Anderlecht as an official betting partner as well.
