Veljkovic’s Serbia knocked out of the World Cup

Milos Veljkovic and Serbia have been knocked out of the 2022 World Cup. This comes a day after Niklas Füllkrug and Germany also failed to reach the knockout stages of the tournament.

Following on from Germany’s tournament exit on Thursday evening, Milos Veljkovic’s Serbia were eliminated from the World Cup after their 3-2 defeat to Switzerland on Friday. Serbia finished fourth in Group G after only picking up one point from their three matches.
