On Tuesday, Marvin Ducksch received treatment shortly before the end of training. Ole Werner was able to give the all-clear at his press conference ahead of the away game against TSG 1899 Hoffenheim on Friday (07.10.22, 20:30 CEST). Ducksch is fit and will be in action.

The condition of two other Werder players is still unclear. Nicolai Rapp left training on Wednesday with a bandaged upper thigh. He has a muscle problem, according to Ole Werner. Eren Dinkci is also fighting a muscle injury again. “We’ll have to see when we can get him involved again,” said Werner. Moreover, Manuel Mbom remains on the list of those injured as he continues to struggle with a back injury.
