New season, new rules: The players from Werder Bremen will be paced with a new challenge in the 2009 / 2010 season. Those wishing to witness the games live at the stadium and travelling by car, but not in possession of a parking allowance, will no longer have access to the Weser Stadium and surrounding vicinity. The simplest solution is to make use of the ‘Park & Ride’ offer.

Fans coming from the direction of Hamburg, Hanover, Osnabruck and Oldenburg should exit the A1 at ‘Hemelingen’ and follow the signs to the ‘Park & Ride’ station at ‘Hemelinger Hafen’. It’s a mere ten minute shuttle bus ride to the stadium from there and ticket holders may travel free of charge.

Those approaching on the A27 from the direction of Bremerhaven, can take the ‘Bremen-Vahr’ exit to the ‘Park & Ride’ station on Hansa-Carré. From there, match ticket holders can travel on the number 3 tram free of charge. In addition, the Sielwall Ferry will travel, as usual between the parking area ‘Kuhhirten’ across the Weser to ‘Osterdeich’.
