1-0 win over Aberdeen

Werder played in black jerseys and started strong though Sokratis needed to stop the Scots' first attack separating Niall McGinn from the ball. Werder answered down the right side as Zlatko Junuzovic passed to Nils Petersen though the Scottish defence was there to stop his shot in the third minute.
Captain Clemens Fritz was a good example with his motivation. In the end, Elia had another superb chance but his blast was stopped by Brown in the 89th minute. The game ended shortly thereafter with a deserved 1-0 win for Werder Bremen.
