Foot problems for Tom Trybull

Werder midfielder Tom Trybull must sit out due to problems in his foot.
Tom Trybull once again missed training Monday afternoon as he labours with a foot problem. The Werder young professional missed the final training last Friday as well as the Werder U23 team's match against VfL Wolfsburg. And it's unclear when he can return to action. "Tom tried to nurse his minor injury during training. But that didn't work unfortunately," said head coach Thomas Schaaf after Monday's training.

"It will certainly take a couple weeks," was Trybull's own estimation of the situation. The 19-year-old said the most important thing is that he doesn't return to training until he's completely free of pain. "I will give my foot the necessary rest. I hope that I can return to the team as soon as possible," said Trybull. Werder's No. 25 made his Bundesliga debut last season and earned 15 appearances.

Other than Trybull and Predrag Stevanovic, who has begun rehab on his left knee, all of Schaaf's players were available two days after the Bayern match. The next training ahead of the Friday match against FC Augsburg 5 October 2012 at 8:30 p.m. will take place tomorrow morning at 10 a.m. on the Weser Stadium training grounds.
