Pizarro: "Werder are on a good way"

Hello Claudio, good that we were able to reach you. How are you doing?
Claudio Pizarro: "I am doing very good. My family and I have moved into the house where we used to live. The integration therefore was very easy and sports-wise everything is going very well. We are doing great - everything is going as planned."
Another reason to celebrate is another record for you from Tuesday. With 337 matches, you have now played more Bundesliga matches than any other foreign-born player. Congratulations.
Claudio Pizarro: "Thanks. I also played many of them for Werder."
In the last showdown of these two teams in April 2012, Claudio Pizarro was still captain for SV Werder. He transferred to Munich this past summer.
Claudio Pizarro: "That is a difficult question. I remember most my first appearance in the Bundesliga. It was at home against Kaiserslautern. Back then I even scored a goal right away. But there are others as well."
Let's look forward. On Saturday you return to Bremen. Are you looking forward to it?
Claudio Pizarro: "Yes, of course. This is a very special match for me. I will return to Bremen for the first time because I couldn't do it the first time."
Another highlight for you will be you receiving an official farewell from Werder on Saturday.
Claudio Pizarro: "Klaus Allofs called me and told me about it. Of course I am also happy about that. It gives me a chance to once again bid farewell to the fans and say thank you for a super time in Bremen. A number of situations during my time at Werder will go through my head."
Is the young SV Werder team far enough along to hand Bayern their first loss of the season on Saturday?
Claudio Pizarro: "Unfortunately I don't think so (laughs). Like I said, we are playing really well. We have a lot of confidence and are playing good football. That's why we're also not giving our opponents very many chances."
How will the game end?
Claudio Pizarro: "We will try to win and I think our chances are good. But I don't know an exact result. I just hope that we have a good match and leave the pitch as winners."
