SV Werder test against SV Heiligenfelde

SV Werder Bremen will use the next national team break to play a test match at SV Heiligenfelde. The amateur Kreisliga team won the right to face off against Fritz, Elia and Co in the VILSA-BRUNNEN campaign "Holt euch den SV Werder Bremen!" ("Bring SV Werder Bremen to you!"). The friendly match will take place on 11 October 2012 at 7 p.m. on the grounds in Heiligenfelde (Syke).

Werder captain Clemens Fritz is looking forward to the encounter and hopes that a large number of Werder fans will show up for the match. "These games always have a very special charm. The club has many supporters in the region and we will basically play in their front yard," said the 31-year-old Fritz. The Werder defender also emphasised the meaning of the match for the lucky winners of the campaign. "Heiligenfelde will certainly give us all they have. I am exciting about the game!"
