Werder coach Thomas Schaaf will have all of his players available for the small North Derby.
Head coach Thomas Schaaf has a problem of too many choices going into their showdown for bragging rights in northern Germany against Hannover on Saturday 15 September 2012 at 3:30 p.m. (live ticker on WERDER.DE starting at 3:15 p.m.). All of his players are fit and were fighting at the final training Friday afternoon for a chance to play a day later. "We have to give our all and fight. We have a lot of quality in the team. If we play like we did in Dortmund and against Hamburg, then anything is possible," said Eljero Elia.

The Green-Whites are hoping that Marko Arnautovic has a strong game against Hannover, just like he did against Germany for the Austrian national team. In the 2-1 defeat, Arnautovic set up the goal by his Werder teammate Zlatko Junuzovic. Arnautovic also had a strong showing against Hamburg. "We are very satisfied with his development here in Bremen and we know that he worked hard on himself. We hope to get a strong performance from him on Saturday," said Schaaf.

Saturday's match is also important for another attacker as the 19-year-old Niclas Füllkrug was born in Hannover and spent his youth playing days just a stone's throw from the AWD Arena. "Of course it's something special for me to play in the stadium in Hannover," said Füllkrug, who was included in the 18-man roster for the game.

These 18 players made their way to Hannover at 5 p.m.: Mielitz, Wolf - Lukimya, De Bruyne, Arnautovic, Fritz, Elia, Schmitz, Hunt, Prödl, Junuzovic, Ignjovski, Sokratis, Gebre Selassie, Petersen, Füllkrug, Bargfrede, Akpala.
