Aaron Hunt had to leave training early due to minor muscular problems.
Aaron Hunt had to leave training Thursday morning early due to minor muscular problems. But assistant coach Wolfgang Rolff eased concerns. "He will be able to return to team training in the next couple days," said Rolff.
Rolff is running Werder training along with Matthias Hönerbach since head coach Thomas Schaaf is in Nyon at the UEFA elite coaching forum, discussing with his colleagues the developments and problems in professional football.
Werder players had a running session Thursday. But Hunt's leaving training early should not have any impact on his availability for the small North Derby against Hannover on 15 September 2012. "He will take it easy the next couple days and then return to full team training," said the assistant coach.
Rolff had a surprise for the players for training on Friday, pushing the morning session up to 9 a.m. "You can train that early when the sun is out," said Rolff in good spirits on his way to the changing room.
