Werder end camp in Zillertal

After six days at Sporthotel Theresa, SV Werder headed back home to Bremen Saturday afternoon.
SV Werder Bremen have ended their training camp in Zillertal as the team flew back to Bremen in the afternoon Saturday after a final session in Zell am Ziller early Saturday morning. Head coach Thomas Schaaf saw plenty of positives from the camp. "We worked concentrated and intensively during the week and worked further on the content we trained on Norderney," said the coach. "Both games gave us more knowledge."
Sebastian Prödl had fun in Austria and gladly looks back on the week in Zillertal. Sebastian Prödl, who more or less had a "home game" with the training camp in Zillertal, agreed with the management. "The time here helped us again to fully integrate the newcomers. We trained well and can fly back to Bremen with a good feeling," said Prödl. The Werder players will continue their season preparations on Monday 23 July 2012 at 3:30 p.m. on the Weser Stadium training grounds.
